IT committee

Some interesting questions came up during one of our more interesting meetings of the year, last night.

Sure, we’re following up on a cell phone RFQ and a printing project analysis, but more important again, we had a very good discussion on pedagogy as it relates to technology, and the role of the committee in getting good examples of its potential in front of teachers.

We can have all the technology in the world, but if teachers don’t see the benefit and are able to use it effectively in their teaching, it just won’t do us any good at all.

Should we have education technology consultants working directly in IT?

Interesting questions.

Truly,

Steve
