Teachers contract negotiations coming

Words that can strike fear into the hearts of parents…

But wait!

Take this excerpt from an article in the Gazette last week:

The principal French and English teachers’ unions, working together, have chosen to focus their demands principally on the good of the students, pressing the government to do more about accommodating “special-needs” students – up to 25 per cent of the public-school total nowadays – and about class size.



This can only be good for all students and teachers alike.

It’s teacher appreciation week next week – perhaps a note to your teacher telling them that you support them in this effort would be a good way of showing your appreciation.
